NCC cadet off to Singapore for international camp

New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) Ten NCC cadets and two officers will visit Singapore to participate in an international camp from May 29 to June 11 under a Youth Exchange Programme.

The delegation today called on NCC Director General Lt Gen M C Bhandari, who exhorted them to project a good image of the country as young ambassadors of India, a statement said.

The Indian cadets would be joined by those from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Philippines and Singapore in the two-week long camp and participate in activities like camping, firing, flight simulator exposure and flying experience, sea competitions, canoeing and scuba diving.

They would also visit places of historical, ethnic, military and historical importance.
