Maoists blow up govt rest house

Munger (Bihar), May 25 (UNI) Activists of proscribed CPI(Maoists) blew up a rest house of Bihar government near the forests of Kharagpur in the district during wee hours today.

Police said that Maoists had triggered explosion through dynamite damaging two rooms of the rest house.

Former police superintendent of Munger K C Surendra Babu alongwith six policemen were killed by the Maoists last year. Raids were on to nab the anti-socials.
