Lightning hits DD tower

Bhopal, May 25 (UNI) Telecast was briefly obstructed after the Bhopal Doordarshan Kendra's tower, on Shyamla Hills, was struck by lightning this evening.

''Some equipment got charred. Telecast was obstructed between 1730-1750 hrs on DD One and between 1732-1813 hrs on the regional circuit,'' said Superintending Engineer S R Chouhan.
