Hoax call keeps Rajouri police on the toes
Jammu, May 25 (UNI) A telephone call, later turned out to be hoax, allegedly about a terrorist attack in Rajouri district of Jammu, today kept the district police on its toes the day long.
The call, received at noon, claimed that militants will target Hindus in Daleri Village. The police swung into action and even a chopper was used for an aerial survey of the area. On further investigations, the call turned out to be hoax, Deputy Inspector General of Rajouri M A Anjum said.
Militants use such tactics to ambush police parties.
