FIIs sell stocks worth Rs 1,935 crore on May 24
Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers by Rs 1,935 crore on Wednesday, May 24 as per SEBI data released today.
FIIs continued to be big sellers on the Indian equity market with net selling worth USD 1.772 billion or Rs 7965.20 crore in the last eight trading sessions since May 15, as per data released by market regulator SEBI.
Yesterday, when BSE Sensex lost 250 points, FIIs sold stocks worth Rs 3,816.90 crore and bought stocks worth Rs 1881.80 crore amounting to net selling by Rs 1935 crore.
Markets may see sharp fall tomorrow on the back of biggest foreign fund outflow in a single day.
