CID arrest one person for cheating job seekers
Hyderabad, May 25 (UNI) The Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested a man on the charge of cheating a group of persons by taking them to Malaysia on the promise of providing jobs to them.
According to police, Sridhar Goud (30) of New Alwal along with Mohd Abdul Siddiqui and Charan Goud opened an office at Narayanaguda and promised job seekers of employment at Malaysia in a company with hefty salaries, free medical and accomodation facilities.
They collected huge amounts from one Raja Mohan and his friends and took them to Malaysia and provided job in another company with less salary in 2002.
Based on a complaint from Raja Mohan and his friends cases under IPC, Indian Passport Act and Immigration Act were registered against the accused.
The CID team after examining witnesses and documents established the role of Sridhar, who was arrested at his residence in Alwal yesterday.
