Bengal lift national U-21 football trophy

Jamalpur, Bihar, May 25 (UNI) Defending Champions West Bengal beat Punjab by a solitary goal to lift the Dutta Roy Trophy in the final of 15th U-21 National Football Championship here today.

Ayan Chowdhury scored the all important goal for the winners.

This is sixth time that Bengal lifted the trophy, the earlier occasions being in 1992, 1996, 2001, 2003 and last year.
