A man shot dead by miscreants, three militants nabbed

Imphal, May 25 (UNI) A man was shot dead by armed miscreants at Khurai in Imphal East while in another incident three militants were apprehended by police.

Police said here today a man, who was riding a bicycle, was shot dead by some miscreants at Khurai Thongam Leikai last evening.

Police is inquiring into the matter.

Meanwhile, police said three Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) cadres were apprehended and as many mobile phones seized from them.

In a separate incident, 22 MARATHA LI troops apprehended a People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) cadre yesterday.

A search operation is under way and the PREPAK cadre was nabbed from his residence at Takyel, the Assam Rifles PRO said.
