2 killed as car hits lorry

Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, May 25 (UNI) Two persons were killed and another seriously injured when their car hit a lorry at Irungattukottai, near here, early this morning.

Police said the mishap occurred when the Tata Sumo hit the rear of the lorry killing Deva Anbu (55) and his relative who was yet to be identified.

The car driver has been admitted to a hospital in a serious condition.
