UP govt transfers Azamgarh SSP: suspended IPS reinstated

Lucknow, May 24 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today transferred Azamgarh SSP Navin Arora to the post of vice-principal, Police Training College, Moradabad.

According to official sources, no officer has been posted as SSP Azamgarh yet.

In another decision, the government reinstated suspended Unnao SP B D Kateheria with immediate effect.

He was suspended on May 3 under charges of not controlling criminal activities in Unnao.

Meanwhile, two Provencial Police Services (PPS) officers were also transferred.
