Three KLO ultras arrested in Bengal

Malda, West Bengal, May 24 (UNI) Three Kamtapuri Liberation Organisation (KLO) ultras were arrested from Habibpur block in the district today.

Police here said while two of them hailed from Habibpur, the other one belonged to Gajol.

The arrested were responsible for the bomb blast in a club here a year ago in which nine people were killed, police added.

The ultras had undergone training from the ISI of Pakistan at Chittagong in Bangladesh from December four to June five, police informed.

They were recently engaged in arms smuggling and subversive activities across Indo-Nepal and Indo-Bangladesh border, police added.
