Principal elopes with girl

Patna, May 24 (UNI) A school principal, Sharwan Kumar Nirala, has reportedly eloped with a 14-year-old student under Malsalami police station here.

Officer-in-charge of the police station Anuj Kumar said the girl was a student of the school managed by Mr Nirala. He also used to regularly visit her house to give her tuition and was known to her family members.

The girl had left her house for school on May 15 but did not return while Mr Nirala was also traceless since then creating apprehension that he might be involved in the incident, Mr Kumar added.

Mohammad Sultan Ahmad, the girl's father, had lodged a complaint with the Malsalami police station.

Raids are on to trace them.
