MP CM opens Festival to mark State Golden Jubilee

New Delhi, May 24 (UNI) Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan today inaugurated the Madhya Pradesh Festival ''From the Very Heart of India'', on the occasion of 50th anniversary of creation of the state at a glittering function here.

Mr Chauhan, on the occasion, spoke of the rich cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh and called upon the people to visit the State and experience its beauty and become a partner in its prosperity.

He said the people of the State had reposed trust in him to undertake development of Madhya Pradesh. ''I consider it as a sacred journey to accomplish this task.
