Met office predicts rain as city sweats

Kolkata, May 24 (UNI) After Kolkatans suffered a hot and humid day today, Met office forecasts rain and thunder storm in some of the areas of the city in the evening.

The Met officials said here that the maximum temperature was 36.7 degree Celsius, which was one degree above normal.

The minimum temperature was 27.6 degree Celsius, Met sources said.

Weatherman said the maximum relative humidity was 91 per cent today while the minimum was around 44 per cent.
