MCD gears up for doctors' strike tomorrow
New Delhi, May 24 (UNI) In order to ensure health services are not affected during tomorrow's strike by resident and junior doctors, Municipal Corporation of Delhi will deploy doctors in its three major hospitals drawn from other municipal medical institutes.
In a special meeting, convened by Leader of MCD House Jitender Kochar, it was decided to depute doctors from other institutions at OPDs of Hindu Rao, Swami Dayanand and Kasturba hospitals, a statement said today.
The doctors would be drawn from various municipal poly-clinics, dispensaries, school medical scheme, Indian Population Project, maternity and child welfare centres and chest clinics.
