India-China trade volume to exceed $50 billion by 2010

Hyderabad, May 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Vice-Chairman Pradeep Dhobale today asserted trade volume between Indian and China was expected to reach 50 billion dollars by 2010 with a 30 per cent rise in trade volume annually.

Participating in a seminar on investment opportunities in China- Singapore, Suzhou Industrial Park and International Science Park, organised by CII here, Mr Dhobale said 'CII's vision was to be a catalyst towards building India as a developed country by 2020'.

'We aspire for a healthy economy for our country and want to work work towards economic growth of 10 per cent by 2007'.

Suzukou Industrial park Vice-Chairman Wenbang Fang said India and China had extensive common grounds to cooperate on the basis of mutual benefit. The trade volume between the two countries was expected to exceed 50 billion dollars in 2010, a release said here.
