Girl commits suicide in Dwarka

New Delhi, May 24 (UNI) An 18-year-old girl, a class XII student of the Delhi Public school in Vasant Kunj, committed suicide at her house in Dwarka in South West Delhi, police said.

Priyamvada was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her house in Sector 6 of Dwarka at around 2000 Hours last night, DCP South West ravinder Yadav said.

According to the police, the 18-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead.

Priyamvada, who had appeared for her class XII board exams this year, was said to be upset over her board exam results.
