According to a company release, Frost&Sullivan bestows this award upon companies with emerging trends and new strategic implementation of products for the expanion of the market base.

Portal,Inc is a leading supplier of semiconductors, firmware and software for personal media players and secondary display-enabled notebook computers.

'Preface' is a new technology platform that enables the development of a second-user-interface on notebook computers known as Personal Media Display (PMD). The PMD works with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system to provide Always-On- Access to information and media stored in the notebook.
