Explosives unearthed from TDP activist

Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, May 24 : The police raided the house of a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activist and seized a huge quantity of explosives, at Rayalacheruvu Village of Yadiki Mandal of the district.

Following a tip off, police arrested Jagdish and recovered 799 gelatin sticks, 4,500 electric detonators, 7,250 ordinary detonators and 27 fuse wire bundles at his house last night.

These explosives are mostly used by the Maoists, police added.
