Encouraging progress at Iran nuclear talks-Britain

LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) A meeting of UN Security Council powers today to discuss the next steps on Iran's disputed nuclear programme was constructive and encouraging progess was made, a British Foreign Office spokesman said.

''Political directors will now report to capitals, including on a proposal that (foreign) ministers should meet in the near future to take final decisions,'' the spokesman said after the meeting.
