Curfew in far flung areas in north Kashmir
Srinagar, May 24 : The authorities have imposed night curfew in the border and far flung areas in north Kashmir to avoid any civilian casuality due to mistaken identity.
A defence ministry spokesman said here that curfew has been inforced from 2200 hours to 0400 hours.
However, in case of any emergency, civilians have been requested to carry lantern for identification so that a proper help could be extended.
He said the District Magistrate Kupwara has already issued a circular in this regard and people have been asked to remain indoor during the curfew hours.
