CRPF jawan among four injured in Srinagar blast

Srinagar, May 24 : At least four people, including a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, were injured in a militant attack in the down town city this afternoon.

Official sources said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a bunker of the 164 batallion of CRPF at Qamarwari in the down town city.

The grenade exploded just near the bunker causing injuries to a jawan and three Bihari labourers.

The injured were admitted to a hospital, sources said, adding militants however managed to escape.
