Cop held for making illicit liquor in house

Vijayawada, May 24 : A constable was arrested for brewing illicit liquor in his house at Penuganchirolu Mandal of Krishna District.

Police told UNI here today D Ramakrishna, who was entrusted with the task of raiding illicit liquor dens, turned a bootlegger.

The crime came to light after an explosion in his house last night while making the brew.

Police found 600 litre of liquor along with five cylinders and five drums.
