Coal mafia dies in Birbhum

Birbhum, May 24 (UNI) Sheikh Mujibar, a coal mafia, died today after bomb was hurled at him by his opponent group in Narayanpur village under Sadaypur police station.

Birbhum Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Singh said Mujibar was riding his bicycle when the miscreants, who came in a car from the opposite direction, threw the bombs at him and killed him on the spot.

Mr Singh said Mujibar has been released from jail only last month in connection with a murder case.
