CLP alleges TDP for its non cooperation with CBI
Hyderabad, May 24 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Legislative party (CLP) today alleged that the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was not cooperating with the CBI officials who were probing the TDP MLA Paritala Ravindra murder case and did not present before the Justice Gopala Rao commission, also probing the murder case.
Speaking to newspersons here, CLP Secretary and former Minister Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu said the TDP leaders were not ready to cooperate with the CBI and the Rao commission.
Denying Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy's son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and State Panchayat Raj Minister JC Diwakar Reddy's involvement in the murder case, he said the CBI had already cleared them.
Mr Naidu alleged that the TDP leaders submitted a memorandum to the President Kalam on the issue for a political advantage.
He said the TDP Chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was blackmailing the officials.
He urged Mr Naidu to change his attitude and behave like a responsible opposition leader of the state.
