Amararaja to increase production to 6 million

Tirupati, May 24 (UNI) To meet the present demand for automobile batteries in the counntry, Amararaja, one of the largest battery production companies in the country, is planning to increase the production capacity from one million to 3.25 million batteries soon, Amararaja group of industries Chairman G Ramachandra Naidu said here today.

Talking to UNI, Mr Naidu said there was more demand for automobile batteries.

He said the company was planning to increase the production capacity to six million. "Every year we will increase the prodction", he sadded.
