Airtel-ESPN make World Cup go mobile

Kolkata, May 24 (UNI) Airtel today brought a bouquet of services in association with ESPN to make World Cup a household affair.

Announcing this, Bharti Airtel Ltd Director (Marketing and Communication) Hemant Sachdev said, ''The latest breaking team news, fixture listing, half time/fulltime scores, penalties and injuries will be avalaible on sms/wap alerts. Also the Airtel customers may choose to receive sms alerts to get their favourite team's progress in the World Cup.'' '' Customers can also download Mobisodes of previews, predictions from ESPN pundits and presenters. They can also download wallpapers of the stars like Daviod Beckham, Ronaldo, Mike Rooney and others,'' Sachdev added.

ESPN Managing Director R C Venkateish said,''As the leading sports network we are focussed on servicing the pan-that means making our sports content available any time anywhere through any device.

Through mobile ESPN we have done that.'' The facilities will be available from May 31 to July 9.
