Administrative reshuffle in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, May 24 (UNI) In an administrative reshuffle, Tamil Nadu government has transferred several senior civil officers.

Former Special Commissioner of Social Welfare Mohan Verghese Chunkath, IAS, is posted to act as Special Commissioner of Fisheries vice Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, IAS, already transferred. He will also be the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation.

N Govindan, IAS, formerly Comissioner of Prohibition and Excise, is posted to act as Special Commissioner and Director of Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities vice M Devaraj.

G A Rajkumar, IAS, formerly Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Rehabilitation, is transferred and poted to act as Secretary to Government, Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department vice Tmt Susan Mathew, IAS.

G prakash, IAS, Additonal Collector (Relief and Rehabilitation) Kanniyakumari District, is transferred and posted to act as Collector, Tirunelveli District vice Atul Anand.

Anil Meshram, IAS, Commissioner, Corporation of Coimbator, is transferred and posted to act as Collector, Perambalur District vice D Vivekanandan.

Dr Santhosh Babu, IAS, Joint Secretary to Government, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, is transferred and posted to act as Collector, Krishnagiri District vice Mangat Ram Sharma.

Shunchonngam Jatak Chiru, IAS, Project Director, Hill area Development Project, Udhagamandalam, is transferred and posted to act as Collector, Pudukottai District vice P Sonai.

K Skandan, IAS, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Limited, is transferred and posted to act as Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, Chennai vice Tmt P Sivakami.

Dr V Varaprasada Rao, IAS, formerly Secretary to Government, information and Tourism Department, is posted to act as Commissioner of Labour vice V K Subburaj.

V K Jeyakodi, IAS, formerly Secretary-II to the then Chief Minister, is posted to act as State Commissioner for the Disabled vice K Ashok Vardhan Shetty.

V Kanagaraj, IAS, formerly Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Minerals Limited, is posted to act as Registrar of Co-operative Societies vice Dr R Kannan.

K Rajaraman, IAS, Additional Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, is transferred and posted to act as Special Secretary to Government, Industries Department vice M Malik Feroze Khan, IAS, already transferred. K Rajaraman, IAS will function under the overall control of the Secretary to Government, Industries Department.
