UPA anniversary: 13 Ministers make presentations before PM

New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) Thirteen ministers of the Congress-led UPA coalition Government made a presentation before Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here today, listing the achievements of their respective ministries during the last 12 months, as part of the observance of second anniversary of the Government.

The ministers included HRD Minister Arjun Singh, Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Meera Kumar, Labour Minister Chandra Shekhar Rao and Minister of State for Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation Kumari Selja.

The Ministers threw light on the various initiatives taken by them and their future course of action towards fulfilment of the commitments made in the National Common Minimum Programme.

Presentations were made about Ministries covering the thrust areas that included education, health, rural development and infrastructuire development.
