SVU to introduce bridge courses for job seekers

Tirupati, May 23 (UNI) The Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) will introduce bridge courses for job seekers during the next summer vacation.

A SVU press release here yesterday said a 15-member committee had been constituted under the Chairmanship of SVU Vice-Chancellor S Jayarama Reddy for preparing an action plan for the courses.

The proposal was made after a series of interactive sessions between the university and industry representatives. The main objective was to equip students with skills to find good jobs.

The innovative programme will help in setting a new trend and strengthen the relationship between the university and industry, the release quoted Prof Reddy as saying.
