Rexona's campaign against body odour

Chennai, May 23 (UNI) Rexona, a leading deodorant brand, today launched a campaign here as part of a nationwide 'NO B.O (body odour) Movement' with Kollywood actor Simran putting the first signature.

It was part of Rexona's campaign to make people aware they might have body odour and encourage them to prevent it, HLL Deodorants Marketing Manager Milind Walvatkar told a press conference here.

He said the movement would reach over 1.5 million youths spread over 1,000 colleges and IT and BPO companies in seven cities - Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Kolkata.

Each person who signed up for the 'No B.O Movement' would pledge to start the movement with themselves. It should easily make it to the Limca Book of Records with the largest sign ups ever, he added.

Mr Walvatkar said Rexona introduced its international best seller Rexona Deo Roll On in India to make the movement successful.

It had been launched in two separate variants - Free Spirit for Women and Ice-cool for Men - at a price of Rs 30 each.
