Reliance Natural gets 6 lk shares under offer

Mumbai, May 23: Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL) has informed BSE that as many as six lakh shares have been tendered under the open offer made by Reliance-Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group to the shareholders of the company which closed yesterday.

Reliance-ADA group made the open offer to the shareholders of the company to acquire from them 32.66 crore shares representing 20 per cent of the - expanded equity share capital of the company.

However, only 0.03 per cent of the expanded equity capital of the company, representing less than six lakh shares have been tendered under the open offer, opened on May three.

The open offer was made in terms of SEBI takeover code, consequent upon the preferential issue of shares aggregating Rs 1,052 crore made by the company to Reliance-ADA group.

After the said open offer, the shareholding of Reliance-ADA group in the fully diluted capital of the company stands increased to about 55 per cent.
