Naxals slay cop

Jagdalpur, May 23 (UNI) Naxals have killed a constable who was abducted after being forced off a Hyderabad-Jagdalpur bus on May 21 near Manikota village in Chhattisgarh's Dantewara district, police said.

Constable Dileep Bargad's corpse was found today on the Jagdalpur-Konta road near the village and it was suspected that he was stabbed.

Rebels called a two-day Dandakaranya 'bandh', starting May 21, in support of certain demands and torched four buses near Manikota.
