Naidu slams renaming of schemes by Cong Govt
Guntur, May 23 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief N Chandrababu Naidu today took exception to the Congress government altering the nomenclature of schemes named after N T Rama Rao and said the names would be restored if the party returned to power.
Speaking at a meeting of party workers here, he claimed the TDP government had obtained all clearances for the international airport in Hyderabad and named it after TDP founder and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao.
However, the Congress, against norms of all political decency, renamed it Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, he alleged.
