Naidu castigates UPA Government

Vijayawada, May 23 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged that the Ccongress-led United Progress Alliance (UPA) Government had failed on all fronts in its two years in office.

Talking to mediapersons on his arrival at Gannavaram Airport Mr Naidu wondered how the UPA celebrated its second anniversary after the worst-ever crash of the Stock Market yesterday.

The Centre has also failed to control the prices of essential commodities, he charged.

The Centre has done nothing to the farmers so far and power cuts were prevailing throughout the country, he alleged adding the Centre and State government were pursuing 'anti-people' and 'anti-farmer' policies.

Mr Naidu reiterated that the party was against separate Telangana and always stood for a united Andhra Pradesh.

He called on the TDP workers to strengthen the party and work hard for the coming local body elections.
