MK's assistance to mishap victims' families

Chennai, May 23 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today announced an assistance of Rs 50,000 each to the families of five children, who drowned in a well at Vadakurumbur Village in Villuppuram District of Tamil Nadu a couple of days back.

An official release here said Mr Karunanidhi expressed profound grief over the death of the children and announced the assistance from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.
