Hizb claims responsibility of Srinagar suicde attack

Srinagar, May 23 (UNI) The Pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen militant group today said one of its fighters carried out the suicide bombing on a Border Security Force (BSF) vehicle that killed two personnel and wounded scores of others.

A person, identifying himself as Ehsan Ilahi and a Hizb spokesman, called up the offices of local media here to claim the responsibility of the suicide attack on the BSF vehicle at Peerbagh on the Srinagar-Airport Road here this evening.

The fidayeen was also killed in the explosion.
