'Conditions of people worsens in Congress regime'
Itanagar, May 23 : The Arunachal Pradesh BJP has alleged that the socio-economic conditions of the people have worsened during the Congress regime.
The party leaders said here today that the near closure of state cooperative apex bank, forceful termination of employees of Arunachal Pradesh Forest Corporation, financial mismanagement and irregularities in budgetary allocation in state departments were some of the stumbling blocks, the party leaders alleged.
The promises made by the Congress, in its election manifesto, through suitable industrial policies, growth of tourism, horticulture and other allied sectors were not fulfilled, the BJP pointed out.
Meanwhile, the party condemned the terrorist attack on the Youth Congress rally at Srinagar on Sunday and called it a 'cowardice' act by militants, trying to destabilize the peace process in Jammu and Kashmir.
