Bhim Singh-led Panthers Party to attend Srinagar round-table
Srinagar, May 23 (UNI) The Panthers Party, led by Prof Bhim Singh, will take part in the second round-table conference to be chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here for two days from tomorrow.
Confirming the participation, a party release said a four-member delegation headed by Prof Bhimn Singh would take part in the meet.
The other members are Youth Panthers Party President Balwant Singh, former Minister and party General Secretary Harsh Dev Singh and vice-president Faqir Nath.
The party said it will present a memorandum to the Prime Minister, seeking justice and equity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
''The people of the state have remained ignorant and treated like second class citizens since 1947,'' it alleged.
The party urged all ''angry'' Kashmiri leaders to reconsider their decision and participate in the conference for their ''own good and interest as otherwise they will miss a right opportunity in their life.'' UNI AG VD KP1820
