Balraj Puri not to participate round table conference

Jammu, May 23 (UNI) Prominent Kashmir expert and senior writer Balraj Puri will not participate in reound table coference scheduled to begin in Srinagar tomorrow due to poor health.

Mr Puri, who participated in first round table conference at New Delhi on February 25, had received invitation from Prime Ministre's Office on May 18 but conveyed to them that this time he could not be in Srinagar.

Talking to UNI, Mr Puri said the doctors had advised him complete bed rest, therefore he had cancelled his programme for the second round table conference.

The leaders of main stream political parties and orgnisations have left this evening for summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir to participate in the conclave.
