Mobile operator Aircel launches 'Talking SMS'
Chennai, May 23: Mobile operator Aircel today launched 'user- friendly value added service 'Talking SMS.' A press release here said Aircel was the first cellular operator in the country to launch the unique service.
To send a Talking SMS, the subscriber had to dial 545 followed by the recipient number to which the SMS has to be sent.
The Talking SMS will reach the receiver as an incoming call. It can be sent to any mobile or landline in Tamil Nadu for just Re one a message.
Commenting on the service, Aircel CEO K V P Baskar said ''Aircel, through this unique value added service, has rededicated itself to the mass mobile using community. As a leader, it will pioneer more such value added services to enhance the life style of its subscribers.''
