AIEEE results tomorrow

New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) Results of the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) for admission to under-graduate classes in engineering and architecture planning will be out tomorrow, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) said today.

The results would be announced at 1400 hrs, a notice on the CBSE website http://www.cbse.nic.in said.

Over half a million students had taken the test at 912 centres across the country on April 30.

The exams were held for admission to 18 National Institutes of Technology, 3 Indian Institutes of Information Technology and Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, 6 self-financed deemed Universities and 4 other Central Government-funded institutions.

The states of Haryana, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal, besides the Army Institute of Technology, Pune, Maharashtra, Tezpur University, Napaam, Assam and Assam University, will use AIEEE ranks to fill seats through their own counselling, the website informed.
