Accused in Swami Dharmanand murder case arrested
New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) A man wanted in connection with the murder of a Mahant in Uttaranchal has been arrested from Prahladpur village near Bawana in North Delhi, police said.
Satbir Dahiya, 45, was wanted for the murder of Mahant Swami Dharmanand of Haridwar since May, 2004.
The arrest last night followed a tip off.
The Mahant was killed in a bitter succession struggle in the Chetanand Ashram Trust, which runs religious shrines at Gopalpur village and at Bhopatwala, Haridwar, police said.
