TCGL, Dangs dist admn to organise summer fest from May 26

Surat, May 22 (UNI) Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL) and the Dangs district administration will jointly organise a ''summer festival'' at Saputara in South Gujarat's Dangs district from May 26 in order to attract tourists.

The three-day festival will offer the rich aspects of the Dangs tribal life like its culture, archery, cuisine and dance forms, said a TCGL official.

When asked about choosing this venue for the fest, the official said that Saputara offers one of the best views of the Sahyadri forest range in Gujarat and many tourists attractions are situated around it.

Saputara is easily accessible from Surat and neighbouring Maharashtra.
