Quake measuring 4.2 experienced in Maharashtra

New Delhi, May 22: An earthquake of slight intensity, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, occurred in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra at 0159 hrs yesterday.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the tremor had its epicentre at latitude 16.8 degree North and longitude 73.7 degree East.
