PMK says no change in stand on support to DMK Govt
Chennai, May 22 (UNI) Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) Founder-Leader S Ramadoss today said there was no change in his party's stand to provide outside and unconditional support to the DMK government in Tamil Nadu.
Talking to reporters here, he said ''we will not join the government. We will continue to provide outside support to the DMK Government. Our support is unconditional.'' Asked whether the PMK would reconsider its decision in the wake of the demand made by the Congress, he said ''not at all. There is no need to reconsider our decision.'' The Congress, in a resolution passed at its CLP meeting, demanded a share in power in the DMK Government.
They said the people had given a mandate for the DPA and all the alliance parties should also be part of the government.
