Manmohan Singh meets Kalam on resrvation issue

New Delhi, May 22: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today called on President APJ Abdul Kalam and discussed current issues of national importance.

The meeting, which lasted 30 minutes, also covered legislative business that would be coming up in the current session of Parliament, a Rashtrapati Bhawan spokesaman said.

Official sources said the proposed OBC quota and the ongoing agitation by students were also discussed.
