One killed, four injured in Srinagar grenade attack
Srinagar, May 22 (UNI) One person was killed and four others were wounded in a grenade attack on the outskirts of Srinagar city today, official sources said.
They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a security vehicle at Soura, but the grenade missed the intended target and exploded near a passenger vehicle, causing injuries to five people, including a driver.
The injured were shifted to the nearby Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science (SKIMS) where the driver, Farooq Ahmad Reshi, was declared brought dead.
