Munda appeals to Naxalitesto join mainstream

Koderma, May 22 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today appealed to the proscribed Naxalites to shun guns and join the mainstream of the society.

He said only peaceful negotiation across the table could solve problems.

Inaugurating a bridge over Barkar river at Dumduma in the district, the Chief Minister said his government was determined ''to do good for the people.'' Mr Munda also said the government has decided to give pension to physically challeged persons as well as aged people. Besides, school going children in the age group of five would also be covered under an insurence scheme.
