Mulayam charges centre with creating hurdles
Siddharthnagar, UP, May 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today charged the Centre with creating hurdles in the path of development in the state.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Yadav claimed the Uttar Pradesh government had spent crore of rupees on buying electricity from the Centre. ''However, the central government imposed fine on us,'' he added.
The Chief Minister asserted that his regime was committed to serving the interests of the people without any discrimination.
''We are working towards making Uttar Pradesh as 'Uttam Pradesh'.
However, a lot still needs to be done,'' Mr Yadav added.
